Course description:
Learn how to hand carve your own set of copitas with ceramicist, Pamela Bercovici
Sips provided by our friends at SAN SIMON
we will be tasting 3 delicious mezcals throughout the evening.

A copita is a small, shallow cup used to drink agave-based spirits like mezcal and sotol.
The word "copita" is Spanish for "small cup".
Shape:
Copitas are typically round with a flat base and wide mouth
Material:
Copitas are often made from clay
Purpose:
Copitas are designed to enhance the aroma and flavor of the spirit
How to use:
Hold the copita close to your nose to inhale the spirit's aroma
Taste the spirit on your fingers by dipping them into the copita

We’ll be using tools to scratch away the surface of your Set of 2 hand-thrown copitas. You can also enhance your designs with colorful underglazes.
Available for pick-up approximately 10 days after workshop
