About Us
We’re Jessica and Pamela Bercovici, the mother–daughter team behind Casa de Stela, a creative space in downtown Bend, Oregon that blends handmade goods, intentional design, and community-driven experiences.
Casa de Stela’s story began in 2010, when Jess founded the brand in Guatemala, inspired by her background in anthropology, her work as an archaeologist, and her deep connection with the country’s artisans and textile traditions. What started as a way to collaborate with weavers and preserve cultural craft has since evolved into a multi-faceted brand that bridges cultures, makers, and modern design.
In January 2025, Casa de Stela entered a new chapter: Pam officially joined as co-owner. A lifelong creative and ceramicist, she now handcrafts the pottery you’ll find in our shop and studio. Together, we’ve built Casa de Stela into not just a retail space, but a gathering place where creativity, collaboration, and craftsmanship meet.
At 838 NW Bond Street, you’ll find a carefully curated mix of apparel, ceramics, skincare, scents, books, and home goods; alongside a working studio where we host hands-on workshops. Every part of Casa de Stela reflects our belief in slow fashion, thoughtful design, and the power of creativity to connect people across generations and cultures.
We’re so grateful to share this journey as both family and partners, and we can’t wait to welcome you in.
