Join us for an evening of color and creativity as we explore the beauty of natural dyes! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll use plant-based dyes and extracts to create your own one-of-a-kind silk satin scarf and cotton scrunchie.

We’ll be working with pre-mordanted textiles—protein-based silk and cellulose-based cotton—giving you the chance to see how each fiber uniquely absorbs and reflects color. Expect soft palettes, earthy hues, and a touch of botanical magic.

Whether you’re new to dyeing or looking to deepen your practice, this class is a fun and approachable way to play with natural color

About Your Instructor

Jess Bercovici, co-owner of Casa de Stela, spent nearly 18 years living and working in Central America, where she immersed herself in traditional textile practices. She worked closely with Olga Reiche, a master in natural dyeing, and still uses her time-honored indigo techniques today.

What to Expect:
