I travel A LOT; like a road warrior for the past 20+ years and typically I despise tours. I don't like the schedules, some of the people on the trip, structured meals, lengthy talking by the guide, or your seatmate. So I was hesitant to join this one. But I did my research and compared many of the similar groups/trips and I can say wholeheartedly that I chose the right one. The trip was not overscheduled whatsoever and I LOVED that the mornings started with optional yoga/breakfast so that I could actually roll out of bed and make a 10-1030a departure without rushing. The places that we stayed were really fantastic and for a self-professed hotel/airbnb snob that's saying something. Plus I'm a picky eater even though I travel extensively and I was always pleasantly surprised with the options either at the restaurants or with our homemade meals. But truly what makes this tour so much better is that the people who gravitate to this one are really special. The women here are independent, interesting, generous, thoughtful, fun and well - everything you could ask for when you're thinking of inspiring. Jess and Jo are the best kinds of hosts - just like you or me - go with the flow, adaptable, quick thinking, and sincere. I WANT to travel with these women and even I can't believe I'm saying that (because I'm usually a bit of a lone wolf on my travels.) But with all honesty, I hope that I will travel with all of these females again and I'm happy that I can now call them part of my tribe. You'd be lucky to join whether you travel on your own or not; this is a welcoming, inquisitive, and inclusive squad.
